Nangma Valley sits in the shadow of some of the most formidable peaks on Earth. Tucked into the Hushe Valley of the eastern Karakoram, it sees a fraction of the foot traffic that flows to more famous routes — yet the scenery is just as jaw-dropping, and the sense of wilderness far greater.
The approach from Skardu passes through Kanday, a traditional mountain village that marks the edge of the trekked world. From there, two days of hiking through increasingly dramatic terrain lead into Nangma Valley itself — a place of sheer granite walls, glacial streams and an almost total silence broken only by the wind off the ice.
A full rest day allows for the optional push to Amin Broq Base Camp and the K6 viewpoint — a front-row seat to one of Karakoram's most rarely seen giants. The return swings over the legendary Babusar Pass and down through Naran, a fitting send-off before the drive back to the city.

Itinerary
Day 1
Islamabad → Skardu
Midnight departure from Islamabad for a full-day drive through the Karakoram Highway to Skardu. Breakfast on the road, dinner in Skardu. Overnight in hotel.
Day 2
Skardu → Kanday Village
After breakfast in Skardu, drive to Kanday Village — the gateway to the Hushe Valley. Spend the afternoon exploring this traditional mountain settlement. Dinner and overnight in Kanday.
Day 3
Kanday → Minglu Broq
An early start and the trek begins. Hike through steadily rising mountain trails with sweeping views of the surrounding Karakoram peaks. Reach Minglu Broq by mid-afternoon. Dinner and overnight camping.
Day 4
Minglu Broq → Nangma Valley
Continue the trek deeper into the valley. As the trail unfolds, the scenery becomes increasingly dramatic — sheer granite walls, glacial streams and the raw silence of the high Karakoram. Arrive at Nangma Valley, set up camp, and take in the surroundings. Dinner and overnight camping.
Day 5
Exploration Day — Nangma Valley & K6 Viewpoint
A full day at altitude. Explore the valley at leisure or take the optional hike to Amin Broq Base Camp and the K6 (7,282 m) viewpoint — one of the most dramatic mountain panoramas in the Karakoram. Return to camp for dinner and a second night in Nangma Valley.
Day 6
Nangma Valley → Kanday → Skardu
Begin the return trek to Kanday, retracing the trail through the valleys you came to know on the way in. Drive to Skardu on arrival. Dinner and overnight in hotel.
Day 7
Skardu → Naran
Early morning departure from Skardu for the scenic drive over Babusar Pass (subject to road and weather conditions). Stop to explore the sights around Naran. Dinner and overnight in Naran.
Day 8
Naran → Islamabad
Breakfast in Naran, then the final drive home. Arrive in Islamabad and end of tour — with memories that will last a lifetime.
